Manny Machado hit a three-run homer, his third homer in the series, and the Baltimore Orioles completed four tense days at Fenway Park with a 8-3 victory Thursday against the Boston Red Sox.

Machado struck a 466-footer for the Green Monster, during a fourth inning that Baltimore scored five times. Seth Smith fired four of Baltimore’s 17 hits.

In a four-game series marked by pelotazos, pitcheos tight to the body and racist anger, the last one was a smooth process.
And everything was decided in the fourth when the Orioles turned a deficit of two races to go up 6-3.

Tyler Wilson (2-1) allowed three runs and six hits in six innings after touching the opening after scheduled pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez had to leave the bullpen on Wednesday.

Kyle Kendrick (0-1) made his season debut and allowed six runs and eight hits in four innings. Dustin Pedroia hit a home run, his first of the season, for Boston.

For the Orioles, Manny Machado of 5-2, one run scored and three RBIs.

For the Red Sox, Hanley Ramirez of 4-2, a scorer. Christian Vazquez of 4-1.
