Dustin Pedroia produced a run of the win in the 11th inning and the Boston Red Sox won the Philadelphia Phillies 6-5 on Monday.

The Venezuelan Pablo Sandoval opened the door with a single to launch Casey Fein (0-1). Deven Marrero entered from the starting runner and advanced with a sacrifice fly. After Mookie Betts was intentionally grounded, Pedroia hit a groundhand that went straight to the right and Marrero overcame Aaron Altherr’s pitch with a head-to-head sweep in a close play.
